Get glowing skin with homemade scrubs for oily skin

Get glowing skin with homemade scrubs

Scrubbing is a form of exfoliation that removes dead skin cells and makes skin clear.
It also keeps the pores clean. Scrubbing is really important if you have oily skin.
You can buy scrubs from the market which are ready made or you can even make one with kitchen items, that will be all natural, cheaper and more effective.
While you exfoliate or scrub you can notice that your skin looks radiant and glows afterwards as blood circulation is also enhanced with massaging the face.

Oats and Sugar
You can take two teaspoonful of oatmeal and put it in water or milk whatever you prefer, once it gets pulpy and gooey soft, then take a teaspoonful of sugar and mix it in the paste of oatmeal and water.
Let it sit for 2 minutes and then apply on your clean face. Massage it on your face as if you are exfoliating/scrubbing. You should keep doing this scrubbing for around 2-3 minutes and be gentle. Wash your face with plain water and you will instantly see that your skin feels clean and clear. There is no dead skin or roughness.
Oatmeal helps skin glow and sugar exfoliates your skin.

Homemade Face packs with Multani Mitti

Face Packs with Multani Mitti (Fuller's Earth)
Multani Mitti also called fuller’s earth can have several benefits when applied on face as packs and masks. It’s a clay that absorbs the excess sebum/oil from the oily skin. This home made face pack with multani mitti is good for those who are trying to prevent acne or pimple or already struggling with pimples This pack due to the presence of neem along with the tulsi leaves is very helpful for oily and acne prone skin. Here is a very easy to make face pack with multani mitti that you can make at home with simple steps.

You will need-
  • Fuller’s earth or Multani Mitti
  • Neem powder/leaves
  • Tulsi Leaves

First you will have to soak the multani mitti into a bowl of water so that it can absorb water and can be made into a thick paste or you can also try to crush it and then add some water, whichever way you find easier. It is very inexpensive and can be bought from the local stores.

How to Prepare the Multani MItti Face pack

  • For the entire face a teaspoonful of Multani mitti is enough, so after that add some neem powder or if you don’t have powder, then crush both the neem and tulsi leaves and add them to the paste of multani mitti.
  • Mix them well and apply a thick layer on the clean face.
